Join The Georgia Trust in celebration of Preservation Month with an exclusive guided tour of The Goat Farm Cultural Center in Atlanta. The Goat Farm is a historic 19th-century industrial complex turned thriving arts community. Originally built in the 1880s as E. Van Winkle Gin and Machine Works, the site was a major producer of cotton gins before suffering a devastating fire in 1923. It later became home to a range of industrial operations before its transformation into an arts center in the early 2000s.
Spanning 12 acres, The Goat Farm is now a hub for contemporary art, live performances, and creative living. Visitors can tour the center’s historic brick warehouses, home to artists working in studios, galleries, and performance spaces. The center also offers loft-style live-work apartments with industrial aesthetics, fostering a vibrant artistic community. Discover how The Goat Farm Cultural Center seamlessly weaves history, art, and creative living into a one-of-a-kind experience.
